Gluten Free Avocado Black Bean Dip

This gluten free avocado black bean dip is delicious and super quick to make. Perfect for unexpected guests!


  • 1 avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1/2 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic (or to taste), minced
  • sea salt, to taste
  • 1/3 cup shredded colby jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup low-fat sour cream


  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, mash together avocado, black beans, lime juice, garlic, salt, and cheese.
  2. Microwave dip on high for about 1 minute, or until cheese is melted.
  3. Top with sour cream.
